Stem collars help increase humidity around the stems of anthurium, alocasia and other aroids. Using these will help new roots form above the soil line, encouraging a more stable foundation for your plants. Once rooted, you can either cut the stem for propagation, or stack another extender on top as needed. The stem collars are made of thick clear acrylic and provide instant stability for bare stems.

Both sizes feature small square openings intentionally designed to keep petioles in place, and a single full length opening for installation.
I bought the small and the large. The small is great but the large didn’t work and snapped as soon as I tried to put it on the plant. They need to be a little more bendable so you can have put them on the stem without breaking it or the plant.
